A story about displacement, loss of independence, and starting anew. Following the outbreak of war, an elderly Ukrainian woman gets stopped at Customs while trying to bring a jar of Ukrainian soil into the UK.

Completed in December, 2025.

Dirt will have its festival debut at the 2026 Norwich Film Festival where it was nominated for Best British Short Film.
