The circumstances are perfect for brothers, David and Matty, to achieve their childhood dream of riding their wagon down the valley’s most dangerous mountain, Death’s Peak. There is only one thing left to do: dig Matty out of his grave.

Death’s Peak premiered at the 78th Edinburgh Film Festival in August, 2025 where it opened for the acclaimed feature “Dead Lover".

The film won Best British Animation and the audience award at Foyles Film Festival as well as an honorable mention for best animation at Future Storyteller Festival. It won the Filmmakers Award at Fesstival De Bretagne and the film has also been selected for Cinanima. Anima, the Brussels International Animation Festival, and Encounters Film Festival.

Death’s Peak was longlisted for the 2026 BAFTA awards in the “Best British Animation Short” category. The film recently received awards for best postgraduate animation and also best sound design at the Royal Television Society Awards.
